Worlds most expensive cars

BUGATTI LA VOITURE NOIRE

The one-of-a-kind La Voiture Noire unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Auto Show stands proud as the most expensive new car ever built. The French automaker hasn’t revealed how much it charged for the one-off, Chiron-based model, though rumors point to a price tag in the vicinity of $19 million. We don’t even know who bought it. Some say it belongs to former Volkswagen Group boss Ferdinand PiĆ«ch; others believe soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo added it to his collection.

While the identity of its owner remains a mystery, its specifications are well-known. The La Voiture Noire — a name which means “the black car” in French — is powered by the same quad-turbocharged, 8.0-liter W16 engine found in the mighty Chiron. It channels a monstrous 1,500 horsepower to the four wheels.

The most expensive movie flops in history

The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002) It might be hard to imagine now, but there was a time when Eddie Murphy's presence in a movie was basically a cheat code to box office success. The man made  Trading Places, Coming to America , and even  The Nutty Professor a success, and his stand-up movies were also incredibly popular. Those days were over long before  The Adventures of Pluto Nash  arrived. Still, the high concept sounded great—"Eddie Murphy as Han Solo" could have been a slam dunk. The movie just didn't connect with audiences, however, earning back only  $7.1 million  of its reported $100 million budget. It's not hard to see why the film fared so poorly. It's (to put it mildly) a complete mess for everyone involved—mediocre special effects, a confusing and unfunny script, and a nonsensical future setting. Hoping that a science-fiction comedy could be successfully anchored purely on Eddie Murphy's ability to attract a crowd was a big

WORLDS TOP 10 MOST EXPENSIVE RINGS

10. Blue Diamond Ring – $10 Million In the list of the most expensive rings of the world, Blue diamond ring comes on 10th number. The ring has a diamond of 6.01 carat. The mentioned blue diamond is in a cushion shape, surrounded by a smaller pink diamond on both the sides. It sold to an anonymous bidder at auction. This ring too sold in Hong Kong and the original expected price was actually within the 2.5-million-dollar range. The fact that this ring sold for three times that amount just goes to show how truly exquisite it is. Vividly-bright light blue stands out, while the pink offsets the striking composition. A platinum band rounds out the triumphant ring, making it one heck of an engagement ring (even if it is just in our dreams.) 9. The Vivid Pink – $11.8 Million The Vivid Pink is on number ninth in the list of the most expensive rings of the world ever made. The 5 carat diamond used in this ring is sure to make anyone who sees it up close and personal very happy. A bi
